This medicine is only part of a treatment program that should include a healthy diet, regular exercise and weight reduction as advised by your doctor.
The most common side effects of this medicine include fungal infection of vagina, nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), and urinary tract infections. It may cause the body to lose too much water. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. Maintaining good hygiene can help prevent?development of fungal infections in the genital area.
If you are hypersensitive to any of the components present in these medicines, please tell your doctor before taking it. Forxiga 10 mg Tablet is not allowed to use in children below 18 years of age. If you are a woman who is pregnant or breastfeeding or planning to be pregnant, then tell your doctor before they prescribe this medicine to you. Forxiga 10 mg Tablet, when used with diuretics, may increase the risk of dehydration, kidney problems and lower blood pressure. Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medication. Do not take or stop Forxiga 10 mg Tablet if the doctor did not advise you to do so. Limit your alcohol consumption with Forxiga 10 mg Tablet as alcohol may cause a rapid increase or decrease in blood sugar levels.
